Activation code problem

I purchased Brandy Station installed it into SOW and when I tried to play sandbox the game crashed. I was told to try deactivating all the mods which I did still crached the I was told to reinstall SOW which I did but when I tried to enter the activation code it kept tell me
"The code is currently active. You need to deactivate the game that is using it before it can be used again."
Then the game starts up with the menu only showing "Single Player
Multi Player
Options
Credits
Resign

I have no idea what I am suppose to do to reinstall the game at this point. What don't I understand?

Sounds like you reinstalled an old SOW version because activation and deactivation are no longer necessary. Go to Matrix Games, register, and download the latest SOWGB version. Have your GB reg code ready to fill in and any other SOW game reg codes you have purchased.
