Re: Nap Portraits
Looking very nice, that small amount of sepia makes a huge difference.

Re: Nap Portraits
They make a very nice addition to the mod. It gives some personality to the units in the field. I'm still impressed with all the time you must have spent tracking down those portraits.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
Re: Nap Portraits
Yeh, I do like the sepia look.
Gunship24,
It would be good to match the portraits with the background exactly. Do you have the sepia mask colour settings or HTML code? Otherwise, I think I have managed to get it close enough.
MTG, it has taken a few dozen hours already (my wife would say more  ) but quite educational too. It is good to put faces to names, which is a good feature of this game, I think.

Re: Nap Portraits
More waiting for the Nap portrait mod, I'm afraid
.
Frustratingly, RL taking over right now.
They will get done but can't predict when.

Re: Nap Portraits
A bit more work done. I have now sepia copies of all portraits and have begun mounting them.
With so many to do, I have used 2048x2048 dds mounts for all portrait Levels and have used the US LVL's for French&Allies and CS LVL's for Coalition. Minor changes to the gfx files have allowed this.
I used Paint.net sepia preset to speed the process up, which has meant me having to also change the Toolbar background colour to match. It is slightly different, more red-brown tint.

Re: Nap Portraits
Further work done.
Cutting and sepia converting now done on all Prussian and Russian portraits. Brings total sepia portraits to 893.
Cheers

Re: Nap Portraits
More progress on the mod.
The list of commanders has expanded to cover most of the campaigns, I now have well over 1000 portraits.
I will post lists soon.
Work has begun on blending (as in the ACW vanilla). I have had to change Gunship's background sceen a little to aid blending, otherwise each portrait would have Gen Rapp's head protruding from it
Almost there with the overall look but its still gonna take me a while to complete, especially during these summer months, sorry
Some screenies:
Thanks

Re: Nap Portraits
These look very nice. The color blends well with the rest of the screen too. They will make a great addition to the nappy mod.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Re: Nap Portraits
Outstanding! I don't see how they could be displayed any better.
