Prairie Grove - Released

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

It worked!!! Bit strange because it starts to load and seems to freeze, then there is a bell sound but when I hit “Space” It then loads very quickly. I apologise for my delay trying it but Im in the UK (Northern Ireland) and was sleeping and then out at work. Many thanks Reb Bugler I really appreciate your help. The map itself looks amazing and its sad to think 2nd Texas (John) is no longer with us, He was very talented.

Jubal Early - Do you have the Antietam Map Pack ?

If not, that would probably be the pause-effect that you have noticed, pressing the Enter-Key will by-pass the missing Packages file from the Antietam Map.

That’s what it was Davinci I had uninstalled Antietam because I didn’t like the maps especially because the rivers and streams looked like muddy paths. What a difference since the 1.6 patch the maps look great now. I’m playing custom battles with a Division or Corps and loving SOW now. The Praire Grove map is great to use ,lots of room to flank. Thanks again everyone.

Taking advantage of my spring break to catch up on SOW. Just downloaded this and it is truly awesome. I am a lover of all things Western Theater and this really hits the nail on the head. I am in love with the map, the flags, and just the Western feel of the battle. Hats off to all involved. This is hands down my favorite battle in the SOW family now. I'd love to see a large scale western mod that changes the uniforms and such too, but I can only hope and prey.

After being away for a bit and just getting started back in SOW I was already thrilled with all that is new and then I loaded Prairie today and was completely blown away. It is very evident that Texas John had alot of pride in his work and put alot into it and anyone else involved with Prairie Grove. Makes me think of how when you really love your wife and then she does something that just makes you love her that much more. SOW is the best thing going and just gets better all of the time.
