NO buildings or fences

NO buildings or fences

Just installed SOW Anniversay Edition, from digital download, onto a late model Alienware desktop. Games runs fine except I get no buildings or fences no matter what settings I use. I AM using 'best' quality for objects.

I accepted the install suggestion to put in C:\Matrix Games\Scourge of War - Anniversary Edition.

Does the digital download not include the models for buildings and fences?

In the Options on the Second Page after starting the game, choose the Show Map Objects and select Best .

Hmm, I'm stumped, your game is loading 491 Objects, so I have no idea why they are not showing up.

I tried registering my game to get access to the matrix version of the game but for SOW Anniversary Edition no matrix version has been posted.

Now I'm wishing I would have just bought the individual games - Gettysburg, Chancelorsville, etc. Those seems to be better supported than this anniversary version.

Those seems to be better supported than this anniversary version.
Why?

Those OOB errors are normal for that scenario by the way.

Do you get a package error when you first load the map? Only other thing I can think of is you are missing the DAT file for the map. Do the other maps like Gettysburg show buildings and fences?

LP I don't think that that would cause the problem that he is having, due to the fact that without the packages.dat file, the objects wouldn't be at 491 .

Question - When I load My game, the mods show up twice but his is only showing up once . So my question would be - is this something that is new with the newer patch?

Guessing - His download might have been corrupt!

EDIT Post - The only other thing that I can think of would be that his game has placed his SOWGB.ini file as Read-Only which would prevent any changes to this file in the game.
If that is the case, then the information that Reb posted should solve that.

I see that 'MPobjlevel=1' is different. Wonder if that's the issue. All I've got with this lead is do a solo MP game and change those options.

But realistically, I think you have a corrupt download, so you just need a reinstall. Rattle the Matrix cage to get a re-download available.
