Equineists?!

Post by Archer »

Is there a SCANDEL in the House of SOW?! Are those in the House of SOW ..."Equineists"? ...Are those play SOW equineists by association??

WHY ...are ALL ...of the horseys brown?!!(standard bay) (...all save for Traveller)... Where are the Chestnuts and Sorrels and black horses? Why not grays or Pintos or Appaloosas? And I'm not even about to bring up anything about the mules (where are the mules!??). SURELY this calls for an emergency patch. ;)

Equineism is a very serious accusation. I hope you're ready to defend yourself against the Wrath of Norb!

:P :P :P

It's all about memory. This will no longer be the case with SOWWL, but with SOWGB we were limited on how many horse variations we could draw.

The Wrath of Norb sounds like a Star Trek movie.
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

It is all about the memory. Cavalry are big sprites and therefore we couldn't have much variety. There are Greys (some generals ride) and dark chestnuts that pull the artillery. Mules are there and pull the wagons.

Its mainly the cavalry I couldn't get much variety on. SOWWL will have lots more variety (Scots Greys to start) but again there will be limits.

Thanks Tim and Little Powell for the good info in answer to my attempt at humor. Can't wait to see SOWWL!

It was funny :) - sorry my answer was a bit dour. My wife and girls are all horse riders and for Waterloo I went to the stables to take photos of the horses for the textures. I say stables - sounds very grand. Its some very muddy (at the moment) fields with some sheds and a lot of horses! Yes Gettysburg was not very pc in the equine diversity department but we will improve!
