I will provide the packed sprites and you can use them for whatever you want, but I'm editing them a lot, adding death sprites that were left out in your mod, and changing textures as I see fit--some TC2M sprites are just too bright and glaring so don't blend well their SOW counterparts.

I converted all of my sprites from dds which shows up better, to the png format which seems to blur out in the distance.

I like the way that they blur-out due to them not having the mip-map-settings of the dds files. In the distance you can't really tell who's marching towards you so you have to concentrate on the flags they are carrying.

I didn't include some of the death files so that some of the men wouldn't fall completely down, but sort of balled up in pain....to simulate being wounded…..My Bad!

So, if you are not doing them for your enjoyment, I doubt that I’ll mod them anytime soon.

I’ve been spending my time lately experimenting with the Power-Render-Program. I figured out how to get the water to work as it used to. (i.e…it doesn’t disappear while rotating camera) , and did have moving clouds but that didn’t turn out too well.

The PR Program does a ton of stuff that no-one has ever used, so I’m going to concentrate on that too past the time until the next-game-engine-release.

Have you registered your game with matrix ? If so, then update your game with the V1.61 patch, which might not solve your issue with the mod, but it will bring your game up to date.

If you haven't registered your game with Matrix yet, follow the link above in the previous post and then update your game to V1.61

2) Right hand side of screen, under the Welcome 'your member name'
- click on "My Games"
3) Look for the "Scourge of War: Gettysburg" (on the right of the game, you should see "Registered")
4) Click on the game
5) Right above the 'Product Info', click on 'Downloads' tab
Now you should see this :

Updates all installs of SoW Gettysburg including bringing old NorbSoftDev installers to full Matrix install.

Now download, install and when you start the game in the left hand corner of the Main Menu, you should see : 1.6100 and now your game is up to date.

I suggest you edit and quote this in the SOW tech section and request the moderator there to sticky it. Title it Steps to update to the latest patch or something to that affect.

Hang in there, the KS group will be releasing TC2M sprites in a new mod soon, and also I will be upgrading B&F with TC2M sprites in the near future. And who knows, with the new packed sprites made available, maybe Davinci will use them to upgrade this mod, despite his reluctance to see this through at the present time.
