Hi! I’m experience a major graphical glitch with the game!
The scenario loads OK, exept for the loading indications on the loading screen which do not show (only a black box where we should see the description of the loading files). Once the scenario shows up I get the graphics all messed up. I see all the flags with one only sprite beneath them and a black box surrounding it. All graphic elements of the map (except the terrain) also show inside a box. The menus are OK. It must be something with my graphic card 3D settings. Have tryed with diferent resolutions and with various detail levels Can some one please help?
I have Windows 8.1, my hardware is more than suficient and my graphic card is up to date. I have other recent games and they all play correctly.

Thanks in advance!
Same as you describe I have a high end PC also windows 8.1 black cubes and boxes

Check your first thread Jubal - I posted the technical link. Set compatibility mode and you should be good to go :)

By default the game installed at C:/ this morning. I have all my games at C:/program files(86)matrix/. There is also c:/programs/.I left it at C:/ when it installed, Thinking it was a separate install from my Anniversery edition. The black boxes showed up So I put the game in C:/programs files(86) matrix and it works just fine. I have been using Windows 10. I also have found with SOW Gettysburg if I turn off all mods at the end of each game, I don,t get any CTD's when I fire it up the next time. I also use "as administrator" each time. I don't know if this the right thinking but maybe Windows recognizes the games on SOW as a separate game with each mod you activate or deactivate when you turn it on or off. Anyhow hope this helps.

Congratulations! I have only had time for a quick look so far, but I suspect I will be playing this game for years to come.

Click the army, then right click on the town name you want to move them to.
