I'm in Australia too, but given how long I've been waiting for a decent Napoleonic Wargame it works out to only about a couple dollars per year of wait. For me the pain of purchase price will long be forgotten after hundreds of hours of wargame bliss. Indeed a bargain.

agreed, $69 aussie dollars is a bargain for the amount of play it will get. Not to mention multiplayer! Strewth!

I'd say the price is a little over average for a small developer. You have to consider though that it is a small team, making a fairly niche and detailed wargame, you have to pay for the privilege. If you support them it means you support the genre and it means more games for us in the future.
Also worth mentioning the massive re-playability of Scourge of War titles, its a tiny investment for a lot of game play over the next few years. (Not to mention mods etc.)
I would never pay full price now for a AAA title, but it's good to support smaller developers.

We appreciate the support. Thanks everyone.

Well, for me for 48 euros game needs offer not only Waterloo... offer the double battles of campaign is more on the price (Ligny-Quatre Brass, Waterloo-Wavre), at least to complete Waterloo title you are going to buy 1 expansion but could be 3, something i dont know and is allways a danger.
And support... what support more the game, sell more base games that open room to sell more expansions/DLCs or limit this???
Is not like the serie only can offer a limited number of expansions... there are room for a LOT of them.
In my case is not a question of buy or not buy it, i know i am going to buy it BUT not for the release price if i need wait i wait but something like release it with a discount for early buy is not like kill the game and with 25% you sell more and are not in the risk of see guys waiting a 50% discount, in the moment you can wait 1 year why not 2???

That is fine Xaver, like we said - it is not going anywhere.

It's all about value.
Like being offered an elephant for 10 cents.
It's only a bargain if you have 10 cents and you need an elephant.
I'm on a small DoD disability and had to check the food pantry and my prescriptions before I decided that with a little economy I could afford the boxed with download option.
I've wanted this since I got my TSR 80 back in the 70's. There was no way I would not find a way to buy this game.
