Only getting "X points" without any details, after an hour-long battle with 10.000s of soldiers, is NOT satisfying.
Now this is one I really agree with. It may seem a minor thing, but the friends I play with and I enjoy looking over the detailed stats for losses, casualties inflicted, etc.

Its a curious omission because SoW:GB had it.

I read somewhere that it will be implemented, just isn't right now. But you can always hit return to battle from the end screen and then look at the unit stats.

As for the generals dying and courier notice being discussed above, I just chalk it up to battlefield confusion. But if you want to keep tabs on who is alive, a) look in the OOB screen, or b) use the arrow keys to scroll through your commanders and see who is dead/different. Not that hard.
CWGII -> SMG -> SMA -> WNLB -> ANGV -> TC -> TC2M -> SOW
