Runtime error

I get a runtime error whenever i start the game and it crashes.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and keep getting the same error

Any ideas what is causing this and why is it suddenly happening now?

Game has been patched as well.

Can you post your SowWL.log file that is in documents\SowWl folder.

Also, are you runnning on Windows 8,and if so try running in Win 7 compatibility mode as administrator.

There is no log file in the Docs folder

I am running Windows Vista. Problem started last week. Before that the game ran fine.

And I am not using the Grog mod

Delete lobby.dat from the sowwl folder. If that has become corrupted, the game will crash at the beginning of the start-up.

I got this 'crash' today. First time ever. I did a search for 'lobby.dat' file, it took less than a second. I deleted it and problem solved.

there is no SOWWL folder and there is no lobby.dat file

do a search for the sowwl folder

there is no SOWWL folder and there is no lobby.dat file

For reasons past understanding the sowwl folder is in your My Documents folder.

i reinstalled the beta patch and now it's working fine
