Binding Keys??
Binding Keys??
OK is there anything that maybe I'm not doing right? I have tried 2 keyboards and still can't bind the keys with SOW. I have done this several times in the past with other games.....hmmm did just reload Windows 8. Strange....

OK figured it out it is with the number pad on the right of the keyboard. In 20 years of computer wargaming I have never seen this. Great idea. Just threw off our group !

Yeah this is a great feature that many people don't realize is there. I didn't know it required the number pad.. Haven't tried it on Windows 8, but it works with the normal number keys on Win 7.
From page 80 of the manual:
Control + Keyboard Number Key (1-9) This combination
will assign one of the designated keys on the keypad to select
a specific commander or unit. To set a combination, select the
commander and hit the Control key and any number from 1 to
9 on the numeric keypad. After a key is mapped, hitting just the
number key will select the previously identified commander or
unit.
