My settings are these :

Any help ?
Thanks

Re: Lag
That should be enough machine to run the game fine. Way more than my laptop specs, and I get good frames.
When you say lag, does it actually pause or are the framerates low? You can show your frames by going into your sowwl.ini file in your documents folder, and adding this:
[debug]
dbglvl=2

Re: Lag
I agree, no problem to run NTW for instance.
Without the Turbo mode on my laptop, it's a poor 15 (FPS, thanks for the info) wich drops to about 5 in a cycle of about 6 seconds.
All my men are pausing, maybe they want more food or a Légion d'honneur to move normaly
I've SW Gettysburg demo... it's worst, a big 5.

Re: Lag
Hmm thats very odd. Again, your machine should run it fine. Maybe it's some kind of incompatibility or something. What OS are you on? You can try running it in compatibility mode. Also, when you turn off all vegetation (T key) does the pausing go away?
Re: Lag
The OS is Windows 7.
In compatibility mode, W7 :
Gettysburg, 110 FPS without any vegeation, it's a major victory!
Waterloo, morne plaine, the problem is still there, it's again a major defeat for the french's side...
I've forgotten : all the drivers are up to date, it's ccleanered, malwarebytesed.
La Garde, à moi !

Re: Lag
With lag do you mean a momentary stop of graphic? Not simply a constant low fps?

Re: Lag
So with every probability something is making interference with the process; try to stop the process from the task manager or from the services of all the background applications which can making (the AV, malwarebytes, ccleaner, spyboots, etc) and run the game. You can also verifying playing from the task manager what processes are running (taking CPU time) during the game running expecially at the moment of "lag".
Do you have the autosave set in the game options? Eventually try also to disable it.
