ThanksGreat video, been looking for one like that for ages!

Stances in WL aren't the same of style in GB, style and stances are the same concpets in both the game: style is a attribute impacting the stances auto-choices but not only.Could you please give an explaination of the Commander attributes, and in perticular the attribute that effects stances (style in Gettysburg).
The various attributes of Commander work on the game using the unitattributes.csv columns. If you open this csv file you can see in the columns a set of different values (explained in the first lines) used from the game. in the rows of this file you can see the various attributes of officers, units, environment each with the range of possible values (from 0 to 9 or from 0 to 7). When the game needs one of column values make the vertical sum of values of different attributes involved in order to obtain the number.
So at example the commander radious value is generated using the weather level, the leadership , the loyalty, the experience and the open order. So is not only the leadership which permits to express the action radius of a commander bonus but also other variable factors, some from the environment, from the officer and from the unit involved.

Re: Question for Mitra
I can't find unitattributes.csv what folder is it in ?
Re: Question for Mitra
It should be Base/Logistics - have you the SDK installed?
Re: Question for Mitra
no I'll install it,
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Question for Mitra
I couldn't really find what I was looking for in the file.
All I want to know is whether there is an equivalent to Gettysburgs 'Style' attribute so that I can adjust that commanders stances to account for his personality.
Thanks

Re: Question for Mitra
The style attribute is in one of OOBs columns like in Gettysburg, a value from 0 to 9. Always from the sdk you can find the various OOBs used in the game, in one of columns header you find style which of course has a value only for the officers.
In unitattributes the column 14 is the bonus\malus used in the autostance selection on the base of Style of officer

Re: Question for Mitra
I was hoping that the answer would be something like, "yes we now call it Initiative, or Loyalty".
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
Re: Question for Mitra
Why? Gettysburg and Waterloo are identical on this point; changes the values and added more things stance controlled, but the style of GB is present also on WL (only we added two more level 9 at place of seven) and the stances of GB are the same of WL.I was hoping that the answer would be something like, "yes we now call it Initiative, or Loyalty".

Re: Question for Mitra
I really appreciate your feedback, but I'm not very good at deciphering CSV files,
All I want is an explanation in layman's terms like in the Gettysburg manual of the new attributes.
Thanks.
