For JC Edwards

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

For JC Edwards

Post by Gfran64 »

Hey JC,

I thought you referenced this book in one of your other posts. I thought you might get a kick out of this. Brought back fond memories of me lying awake in my bed with that book and a pen lite under the covers. I would read it when I was supposed to be sleeping. Now I read it with my boys. Enjoy!!!

Regards,

I think i've glanced at the book. If it is really thick then I have looked at the pictures.

I would spend hours drawing my own versions with colored pencils, all the while making little explosion noises.

Yes, yes. :) I spent many an hour with that book as well ( I too would stay up past bed time delving into it  ) and thanks to our very own Phantom Captain I received an original copy of The American Heritage Picture History of The Civil War last August. :cheer:

Even back then in the 70's I pictured those illustrations as a wonderful game.....that just didn't exist!

I'd enjoy finding a copy of that version of the book as well. I remember that cover.;)
