My dispositions of d'Erlon 1st corps before attack on Wellington left flank.
It's just standart Napoleon tactics, infantry attack with cavalry and light artillery support on flanks.

Looks good, but, do you think those two infantry divisions with one cavalry division in support is enough to hold the center? That's the heart of Nosey's defense line.

They must just broke Centre of left wing, after that Lobaut corps can go into this hole, and cut left wing.Looks good, but, do you think those two infantry divisions with one cavalry division in support is enough to hold the center? That's the heart of Nosey's defense line.

Yes, I can see it now. Lobau's whole corps is needed, maybe even Teste's men! That's the heart of the Allied defense and it's a few layers deep; It also includes the British cavalry.

If you are playing with any sort of enhanced artillery mod giving it more historic ranges then it is important to push artillery forward once you have taken Wellington's centre. If you can get some of your Grand Battery on his ridge line then you can do a lot of damage to his cavalry and the like. It is not such an important tactic if you are playing with the standard artillery range for canister as you have to get too close to be effective.

I attach an image from a recent attack on Wellington's Centre. You will see the huge number of casualties the selected Imperial Guard battery has already inflicted.
