Ok, last chance coming this week. MSU and Indiana turned me down, but I didn't necessarily want to go their anyways. I ended up not sending an app to American University. It is either Tennessee or find a real job!!! I contacted them today and they are going to make a decision at the end of this week. Maybe while I am down in Gettysburg I will get some good news.

I hope you get in. I was raised in Tennessee and I had several friends go to UT. It's got a good history program from what I understand. Hope you're a Big Orange fan!

I am actually an ACC fan so I could care less either way, but I would cheer for UT whenever they play Florida. Florida State is my team, gators suck!!

I'm not sure if this will help or just make your wait harder, but I've become addicted to www.thegradcafe.com. Basically people post there grad school results (accepted/rejected etc...) so you have an idea of where you stand with the school. The best part of grad school so far ( I'm actually starting in the fall) is knowing that I will never have to jump through all those hoops again. Best of luck!

I took a look at that forum, it was nice to read some of the post of people that got in. Some of them sounded alot like my academic situation, so I will keep my fingures crosses and the prayers flowing.

As long as you root against Florida I'm happy with that. I absolutely can't stand the gators. But I have to admit that Tebow is one of the best out there. Anyway let us know what happens with your admittance. Good luck!

Bad and Good news. Bad news is that I didn't get in, but the good news is that after 20 years of school, I am almost done. I am in my last 2 weeks of this semester than I have one class left for my masters. Then I can study whatever I want. (After I get this game in tip top shape)

I think I am going to focus on learning as much as I can about Longstreet and Jackson. I would like to write a book on the love affair of Jackons and the villification of Longstreet. I would have to defend Longstreet, but I would love to write it. Off to looking for jobs, already found some to apply for. Cheers!!!
