Rag-Tag-CSA-Army

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Thanks Reb. That's useful. Can you tell me which OOB you were using please, and I'll see if I can replicate the error?

Interesting events....I should of copied the log file but was to concerned into getting the game working properly, I forgot...

Anyways....this morning I was using the 1863_Eastern_AS OOB and was able to quit the game and reenter the game several times without issue. Then I used Indian Territory_AS and the game crashed. As before, when the game would crash, I would simply delete the sub folder from the Mod Folder and be ok......Then I would reload the Mod and would be able to play again. But not this time.....(The Plot Now Thickens) I noticed that when I unzipped the Mod into the Mod Folder, it seemed to take a longer time for the files to unzip....I started the game....the game crashed. I had to reboot the machine again to start the game. Now without the Mod being loaded, I noticed the Indian Territory OOB still listed as the current OOB to use....but the Mod was not loaded....I selected another mod and the game works ok....

This process took about 20 minutes to perform so I may not get back to it for a while, but this is what I observed this morning?

thanks,
Martin James

No problem. I've tracked down the issue, which was my fault, not yours

1. For anyone who hasn't already downloaded the mod, here's a link to a corrected version
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2sq6sdnkvvzt ... 8.zip?dl=0

2. For those who've already downloaded it, all you need is three replacement OOBs
https://www.dropbox.com/s/su6dzgoh0ys2s ... S.csv?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kbxiqu29efu36 ... S.csv?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/04tb1k8nm6zm4 ... S.csv?dl=0

Just copy these into the OOBs folder in the mod, where they will overwrite the existing ones.

Hey All, Reb posted a few new flags of the Chickamauga battle which caused me to view the animated battle on YouTube. I noticed that the units are sort of scattered once the fighting begins.

A few pictures of spreading out the regiments after the first shots. Also the drills file if you are interested in viewing what I have done.

GREAT JOB Martin putting this Together, and all the other Modders who allowed you to use there work only notice a couple of issues Tigers not Aiming in game, no control over charge and retreat when rested or okay when hit advance but other than that just awesome

Thanks Cleaburn. Glad you're enjoying it.

My top priority atm is to work with Mark T to get the Little Bighorn Mod finished.

But will PM you with my email address so you can tell me more about the gameplay issues you found. My next task is to update the ACW mod later this year, so will be able to address any problems when I do that.
