SOW Gettysburg 150 Anv version 1.61

I install. After install not only does it require Admin rights to run (is this mandatory?) but I do not get any text in the initial menu screen. So sad. Tried install as Admin. Tried as general user. Did the directx 9.0C install thing. Running Windows 10 v 1709. Not off to a good start.

Did you try running it in like windows 7 compatibility? This is an old game now. Windows 10 didn't even exist back then.

Ok. Windows 7 Compatibility mode, not on the shortcut, but on the actual EXE file.

One down. One to go.

Is it true this HAS to be run as an 'administrator'? It appears I cannot run this as
a general user?
