Tour Gettysburg with the War3DII Team!

Post by norb »

This thread discusses the content article: Tour Gettysburg with the War3DII Team!

This is very hush hush and very unofficial. This is not a promise at all, but it may become one as we get closer.

Our goal for this Gettysburg Battlefield Tour is to end the evening by having a lan party using an Multiplayer Alpha Test version of the game. One map, one scenario, lots of players. I'm not sure if we'll make it or not, but that's what we're working on.

I would go but I can't drive that far without being on narcotics or drunk to kill the pain for the drive. But I'll go and see that battlefield some day.

Great News!

Just rented a meeting room at the Days Inn Gettysburg for 3pm - 12am on the 25th. That means we can set up and test (play).

We are still deciding whether or not we are going to make people use our computers or hand out a public alpha test.

We are meeting at noon on the 25th at the Eternal Flame memorial, more specific details to follow.

:X I wish I could make it! Sounds like it would be a great time. Hope all enjoy and that we will get an After Action report and photos! :X

We wish everyone could make it! But it's going to be easier if it's a small gathering given that this is an alpha build. Hopefully we can do this next year with a more stable build and really see how many people this baby can handle.

btw - this is an alpha, so we will only be playing on our provided computers. No people need to bring their own boxes.
