I might as well stick in my lot. :laugh:

I have two requests. Give me the command of an artillery brigade (not battery) of a corps (preferably the 1st) or the command of the 1st Division, 2nd Corps, Army of the Potomac.

One last thing, if, since the 2nd Corps is my own..., I was promoted, I would be happy to command my dear corps. Unless, I am not worthy of command of a corps.
