So what would a computer require to run the new game, with all the bells and whistles, not having anything turned back or off, even during MP, for the game to run smoothly?
I don't think it's been invented yet :)

Good answer!

There have been many improvements to performance. When I first started playing the game, if I put it on an Army Size OOB, my computer basically said "nope..."

Hmmmm...let's phrase it differently: What would be the optimum requirements etc...to make it run AS SMOOTHLY AS POSSIBLE? :P

Wasn't too sure about this new title at first, now it's sounding alright, and definitely unique...except for the 'Of War' part as previously pointed out. Then I saw/realized the initials today...SOW...hummm...

I know nothings going to change with my two cents, but was 'This Hallowed Ground' considered? I know it is common and sounds cliche, but what a neat name, IMO, for a ACW game. I did a .com search and couldn't find it taken, but I could be wrong.

Another name I would have considered would be 'To Arms', also available.

Never mind me, 'Scourge of War' is great, I wouldn't have thought of it. I have faith it's really going to be a super hit and begin a revolutionary new era of RTS play! ...just those danged initials...mama Hog.

'This Hallowed Ground' - I like that.
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

I really liked This Hallowed Ground as well, but that was Wrangler's idea and when he left it just didn't seem fair to keep using it. We had not really advertised it yet and he had made it clear that he wanted to retain it. But I really liked that too.
