Invading your comrades personal space.

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Not that I know of. There must be a way to increase the disance, I just can't figure it out.

All I got to say is born2see is in rare form. He has gotten several laughs out of me this afternoon.Must be the cooler weather. Now the subject. Moving the troops I've found takes a little time to get them spread out which would be the case. There has even been times where the troops would walk faster than the lead commander and him on horseback.I can't see a way to keep the distance in a mod form and not have it effect gameplay in a negative way.But then that's just me.

As I understand it, the Officer movement speed can be modded. Regiments on the road cannot run past their officer, so no issues there. I know somewhere I've seen this before and there IS an answer for it.

Not, in the game that I'm playing, it seems that the mapname.csv file has total control over the movement speeds, even to the point of over-riding the unitglobal file.

But, this could be the results of my modding, and not the game itself!

Guessing Here - I would say that this line controls the distance of the units while marching.

Your numbers \ values - will be different from mine!

drills.csv

Level 4 Infantry Column (21),DRIL_Lvl4_Inf_Column,16,1,25+,35+,DRIL_Lvl5_Inf_Column,1,1,0,-10,0,,100,
