Louie, now that you got Lee in headsets, the next step is to show both Grant and Lee wearing headsets facing off with the new game...both intensely starring at their monitors with mice in hands??
That might even make a great pic for advertising the multi-player feature!

How about one of Col Chamberlain with a Nextel or, even better, the Verizon Network on the Little Round Top?!
Chamberlain: "Can you hear me now?"
*static*
Chamberlain: "Hello"
*static*
Chamberlain (to Buster): "Good.........NOT!!"

How about this one:
Beep. Col. Chamberlain couldn't call me because he doesn't have AT&T. So when I am waiting to hear whether he will hold or not, I don't get the message, because we in 1863. So, if he fails to hold, I don't get the message.
AT&T. More bars in More Places.

There's no way to prevent players from using TS2/Ventrilo unless you blacklist them somehow just like PB would do for a hack...i do agree it's unrealistic, especially by forcing the total use of the couriers which i like so much but unless you take the choice to blacklist every single VOP program (including MSN, YMSN, AIM, ICQ, Skype and so on) not adding a vop to the game is just a missed feature with the critical goal of making the courier system an exclusive one, still missed.

Norb, u might want to consider the opportunity of relaxing on the bugs issue. Bin Gates has had hundreds of devs but Windows is STILL wholly bugged.

If people want to use Vent or any other VOIP program they are going to. NSD is making as much as an authentic game as they can, thus the lack of a VOIP feature and the emphasis on couriers. I don't really have a problem with it, because if everyone agrees to use VOIP then use it and if everyone doesn't agree; be honest and don't use it. I don't think it will turn anyone away from the game.
