What do you mean by on screen info? The toolbar? The target list?

Target list, unit ID, info the way it would appear on screen during play.

"The cat is going to be out of the bag soon enough." If it's not too difficult an ex. of an artillery unit using specific targeting display if it's possible. Or Berdan's reg. firing at long range. Perhaps SS of the largest and smallest infantry units, COs with your face on them. :P

I'm anxious to see how the courier message screen turned out. I know its appearance is not a major game play factor, but I'm hoping for an improvement over the "typewritten ragged edge parchment" of TC2M. While it served its purpose, it wasn't very immersive.

Certainly true, AJ. Do hope there is a larger variety of "courier message options" as well. But, I do know that would be tough to accomplish and I will be happy with what we get!

With the new MP empathsis, I would think there might be typed in courier messages by the players.

True, but if Norb and team are on top of things, the messages will appear in a period font.

When I was in grade school we used scatch pens and ink wells exclusively, ink blotters were a must to prevent smudging, pencils were to be only used for math, this was about 100 years after the Civil War. Written courier messages should of only been written with scratch pens, I think.
