In regards to the multi-player part of the game, will there be a co-op capability? I just thought it would be fun if one person could be the army commander, and command a corps, and have a subordinate command another corps.
Or command at corps level, with someone else commanding a division within that corps.
I like the idea of having a Corps commander with other people commanding their divisions, it will play into the realizm part of the game because the division commanders won't know what is going on with the other divisions. You need the corps commander to request reinforcments and to say who should attack and who should hold.

I really hope that I can pull it all off. The initial tests were very promising, so I'm confident that all will work well. There is just a ton of testing to do and I won't feel real good about it until that is on it's way.

Take your time Norb. No good thing can be rushed! I'm grateful for the efforts of you and your team!B)
This is going to be great if working properly. I just seet it now...We will have one player as Division commander giving orders to about three or four Brigade commanders. Then the brigade commanders will need to figure out where and how to place their troops, let the others know where they are, etc., and play the game as viewed from your horse only!! bring in the realism of battle!!
Would this mean the map view showing all troop positions would be unavailable so one brigade commander couldn't see the location of another brigade commander?
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

The commanders should only know what they can see and what information they get from the division or corps commanders.

It is doubtfull that we will have it only showing your units in the first release. I believe that the hind quarters in the saddle would be a server option, so everyone could be forced to play like that. Goal for first release is to just get it running well. I'll add the eye candy in later releases.
