First Impressions and some questions

Post by oho »

First of all thanks for this great game
1. Size does matter
Now you really feel beeing on a battlefield because of the ratio 1:4 instead of 1 : 10 and the graphic object are really good.

2. HITS is a blast
Yesterday started my first battle div-level McPherson ridge with HITS and it's really a great immersion. The only thing is finding out, how to these damn brigades to the spot where I want them - but I will get into this I hope.

3. Questions / possible improvments
The following is a little list and I would like to know if this
(1) will be adressed, or
(2) perhaps will be adressed or
(3) can't be adressed due to engine limitations in future patches
If you would please be kind
1. map zoom
2. giving orders on the map
4. AI improvements (I know one can always improve AI)
a) for example units wheeling left - right - left - right sometimes, as if they can't decide which opponent to face
b) regiments sometimes are crossing each other, the lines are seemingly too lonb
c) AI using column by division when moving on the battlefield (I didn't see that yet)

Definitly give orders from map. Not sure if its possible. I noticed lines overlapping too but that existed in TC2M so it might just be something that we have to live with...not a deal breaker

My first impressions are great, looks familiar to the TCM, but 'upped' to a higher level. Now, I'm sorry, but I have to go away and fight some battles....

When you guys write your comments here they are read by members of the testing team. If they believe that you have a good point or a bug, they will then put that in our bug database. When we go to work on the patch, we will prioritize that database. So most of what you write will probably be addressed. Bugs first though, new features probably at a later date. Thank you!
