game will not start

I downloaded the demo and the game worked fine for me. then after I used my activation code I get this error. "Createdevice failed E fail" it is odd because it only happened after I used the activation code.

I'm confused, because it's the exact same game. You'll have to go through your exact steps that you did to get this error. Did you change any options? I've seen this error from a few people and it has usually been that they are trying to run in a video mode that just won't work. This requires a change to the ini file to fix, but if all you did was launch and it didn't work where it used to, then we're going to have to get into more detail.

just reinstalled(x2). got the same error.

ok it is fixed. i set my resolution to 1920x1080 which i guess is bugged. I reset my resolution and it workes fine now.

I wonder if anyone else is running in that res. Is it the resolution or that resolution on your machine.

I have the same problem trying to run in 1920x1080. I get the E_Fail each time.

I went into the .ini file to change to a different resolution and that works.

In spite of "tweaking" my video card, I haven't been able to make it work. Running Vista 64 and DirectX 11.
