Some Questions

Post by Hancock the Superb »

Ok, so I have some questions for the game.

First, is it true that we can't mod and create maps.

Second, how will the 1:1 sprite ratio affect the maps? Will the maps become bigger? Because it will be weird to play on a map designed for 10:1 sprites with 1:1.

We do not use 1:1 ourselves, but it will be able to be modded. Maps will not be opened until we are done with expansions, same as I was doing with the other games. The map scale is also able to be set in that you can set the number of units per yard. Maps will be moddable, but you won't be able to create new ones until we release a tool.

Being able to set the number of units per yard is an outstanding plus for 1:1 modding quests...I applaud 'The Team'

Yes, that will allow all of the other factors to work correctly.
