Formations

I noticed in I think the "drills.csv" file, square formations.
How do I implement this to the units in my mod?
Do I have to set up a new button for it or what?
I looked in the developers guid but didnt find anything relating to square formations..

We did not say much because the AI does not know how to use this formation. It will put the sprites in the right location, but it will not act like a Napoleonic square formation should. If you want to try it yourself, just set up a unit in a mini-scenario and use the correct name in the appropriate column of scenario.csv and they will start up in that formation. Have fun.

Jim, do you think that in a future patch the AI will be able to use properly the square formation?

Not in a patch for GB.
At some point we intend to branch out into Napoleonic battles. This will take a major change/upgrade of the AI as NW combat is quite a bit different than ACW fighting. That game will of course include a fully functional square as well as the rest of the basic NW formations.
