In-game camera view

Post by Ephrum »

Will we be able to have the same camera views, like TC2M, being able to see from "the saddle" or a "birds eye" view?

Wasn't the "saddle" view a mod?

Will it be able to only be in the saddle, if one wants it. But able to click on different units.

I don't think we've addressed whether or not in the saddle will be a feature or not, but it will be moddable.

When I said in "saddle", I was refering to the "F" key we can use during gameplay on TC2M. I know some Custom Senario's only allow a view from the saddle. And some of the Stock Senario's will let you go only so high with the view, and restricting how far the camera view can go. Open Play has no restrictions with the camera.

I was just wondering if the New Game will be the same or similar?

I think it should be an option.

Yes, we plan on implimenting concepts that worked in tc2m. btw - you can do that in open play. You just have to set it in the ini files in the open play folder.

I didn't know that. I do like the ability of seeing as much of the field as possible. Small wonder that hot air ballons were used in the War. As for a view from the saddle, that's just a little difficult for me.

I assume we're talking about hitting the F key a second time to be able to pan around while in the saddle and on the move?
You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.
