Mods are not supported in MP at this time. Custom OOBs can be placed in the Work folder (and are widely used), but anything else will more than likely cause MP to crash.

What would be a good MP scenario for 2-3 players that are looking to command a Division for the one side (junior players) and a Corp on the other? Would like a little distance between armies beofre the shooting starts also.

E,

What you really need is in Sandbox combat. My recommendation is to choose a modded OOB from the First Day's fighting. Reynolds (Federal) 1st. Corps contains 3 small, tough divisions with attached artillery. They will be faced by roughly two divisions of tough Confederate troops from either A.P. Hills Corps or Dick Ewell's, which you can also chose to fight with. You can also choose the non-modded 1st. Day OOB. The artillery is in seperate, cohesive units. This will allow you to use just Infantry or Artillery to fight/train with. Note - choose the "Corps vs. Corps" setting to get this. Also, to start with troops further away, choose either "Hunt them down" or "Hunt them down - no Objectives" settings. This will give you time to get hold of your troops before you get stuck in. Hope this helps.
