Procaster is FREE, and you can now broadcast your game live!

Hi.

Well Procaster is free (if you do upgrade you did get other treats), and for a free account you only allowed up to 50 viewers at a time. This program accepts all types of video devices, but I am sure that most will be using it to broadcast their games, but you can use it for anything. Broadcast you speaking to your other personalities , or whatever pops into your head, it's up to you...

This program will work with any game. You can broadcast your desktop screen live, or/and record your game, it's up to you.

I do suggest any speed other than dial up. Even though I was broadcasting, I'm sure that the viewer would have received between 2-5 fps because of my speed, but I have no way of knowing because no one has gotten back to me about it (at least not yet).

I did not experience any lag or loss of frames while playing the game itself.

Hi.

I have been broadcasting all day. I did allot of tweaking of my settings (been taking hours), and it works pretty good. So how do I know if it is working? Well there is an in-game hud I can pull up, and it tells me everything I need to know what is going on with my connection, fps, and kbps that I am sending.

Not good enough, I did a test run with storing my game in my on-demand storage, and that looked pretty cool.

Okay one thing to tell you. After you start the program (procaster), and you login, you will notice two little icons one that looks like a screen (monitor), and another right beside it that looks like a console controller or a gamepad. Choose the gamepad looking icon to broadcast while playing a game. For broadcasting what is on your desktop, then select the icon that looks like a monitor. Pretty simple isn't it?

Anyway, if anyone is interested on watching my games I play like COD2,COD4,SOWgb,Fear2,Silent Hunter 4, tons of dos games, All Brothers in Arms games, Halo, and many more so if you are interested then just select this link: http://www.livestream.com/mikesla to sit back, and see me get slaughtered. Imagine, once I got the correct settings, even Dial-up can do this.

Hello again.

Please try to remember that your quality will be totally different than what I am try to stream. I running on a pathetic dial up which I never would use if I had a choice, or else I would be pushing some great footage.

I'm quite surprised that this is even working...so if you have high speed, believe me your quality will be just incredible so have fun, and take it easy!
