Tradewars 2002 Multiplayer (10 Nodes) UPDATE!

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi.

I have finally got this crazy Tradewars 2002 game server up, and running. It's is a 16 person multiplayer game.

This newest version of Tradewars 2002 is v3.09, and has far more options than what you may remember from the older versions (that's if you can remember that far back :) ).

There are 2 Tw2002 games going on at the moment (1:Normal 2:MBBS Mode).

If you do decide to join in on the fun, after you finish creating your character (very quick), and name your personal planet, take ownership of it by pressing the letter "O" before taking off from the surface, this way you will be able to find where it is when you wish to transfer cargo, people, minerals, and to build your citadel etc, etc.

This version is well worth the time to play. The link is : Tradewars 2002 16 MP server

The first screen you encounter is the main login, just type in your 'NickName' you wish to use then choose a game to play, and off you go. There are no emails required...so sit back, and relax. This can be very addictive game to play especially when you have 16 players on at the same time.

Here are a couple of pics for you.

Cheers...

Hi.

If you would like to use a terminal program for either calling the Tradewars 2002 Game Multiplayer server, or a Bulletin Board without having to strain your eyes using the default telnet, I would suggest visiting this site for some great term programs. Site link: http://wiki.synchro.net/resource:term

The program I would suggest you use since it's free, and it can be run on all operating systems is SYNCTERM.

If you do decide on downloading, and using Syncterm or any other terminal program, here is a BBS list for you http://www.synchro.net/sbbslist.html

Cheers...

Hi.

Here is an incredible utility for playing Tradewars 2002 which I just came across, and it's something.

Here is the Link for the program. http://www.swath.net/

My Server only hosts 5000 sectors per game because I don't have the money for the Gold version.

It will logon automatically, and do things which are pretty cool.

Anyway, if you wish to download the program, and give it a try, just first logon to my server, and create your character (takes exactly 11 seconds to do), then logoff, and install the program above, start it up, and select new (top left hand corner), and add this info to get on my server (check out the picture below).

This program will allow you to record macros. For instance I wanted to transfer colonists from sector 1 (sol)to my home planet without having to do this over, and over again by hand, so I recorded myself doing this once, and started the macro, and had it do it 10 times, and off it went. I went to make a coffee, and when I can back it did exactly what I wanted it to do.

Cheers, and I hope this will help you.
