Hope this hasn't been brought up before, but something strange(or is it planned?) happens when you are playing historical couriers only.
As division commander X, select brigade commander Y and order him to move, change formatin etc, whatever, loads of couriers appear and start flying to and fro. Time delay, courier reaches commander Y, brigade starts moving.
Select division commander and click move somewhere, then click formation for division, each brigade instantly starts moving, no couriers, no time delay.
Ive only tested this for division, not corps. Ive looked into it in sandbox and gettysburg scenarios.

Yes, everytime you press a button, a courier is dipatched. If you are in the middle of a battle, some of those couriers might not make it or the 3rd courier will arrive before the 1st two and your orders won't be executed in the proper sequence. It's better to use the written courier system instead. Press the 'C' key and the courier screen will pop-up. You can then put all those commands into one message and send it off.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.
Re: Division Move
Sorry, I didn't explain myself well there, what i mean is that
As div general when you give orders an individual brigade, a courier(s) is sent.
Example - Brigade commander, go here, form line.
But as div general , when you give a division command, no couriers are sent. Everyone just starts moving, instantly.
Example - Me, go here, form line.

Re: Division Move
Ill tack on a second question to that - is there a way of seeing what orders you have issued? Other than looking at waypoints?

I have it set to brigade, but still no couriers go to brigade commanders. Although you can't set that option in anything but custom difficulty. I tried it in historical and custom.
