Activation/deactivation problem: dead hard drive!
Hey everyone,
so I bought SOWG a while ago and activated my code without a problem onto my laptop. Recently, my hard drive had to be replaced and I lost all of my files. When I installed SOWG onto my new laptop and used the same activation code, it told me that I had to deactivate the code first. The problem is that I can't deactivate because I installed and activated the first time on what is now a dead hard drive. Is there any way that I can get this to work? Hard drive recovery often costs a lot of money and I am dying to play SOWG again so please help!

Same thing happened to me over the weekend. Go to Contact us page and send an email to support. Include the activation.log file and include your activation code. Provide a brief explanation of your proble. Took about 24 hours for me to receive a resolution email. Pulled the info below from another thread
Send your Work/activate.log to sowsupport at scourgeofwar dot com, we must have this file in order to check your activation error on the server.
It is important to email us from the email that you ordered the code from and to send us your code.

If you cannot find your code, we can look it up using your purchasing email, so it's important to email us from the same email that you used to purchase. Email us at sowsupport at scourgeofwar dot com.

I have my activation code: I can't deactivate it on my dead hard drive so that I can activate it on my new computer. I sent an email to support but so far I haven't received a reply yet.

There's a lotta unscrupulous Yankees about, lad. Some scalawags too, I betcha. You got a lot to learn son, but we'll get you in shape soon enough.

Re: Activation/deactivation problem: dead hard drive!
I have one more question, a little off topic to this forum. I've made an AAR on a sandbox battle I did, but I'm having trouble publishing it into a forum. I can't figure out how to put words and pictures together when I post my AAR. For that matter, I can't figure out how to put pictures at all. So how does it work?
