Questions about The Boys Will Miss Me Scenario

Post by kaplan71 »

Hi there --

I am going through the motions of trying to gain a major victory in The Boys Will Miss Me Scenario, and I had several questions.

1. After taking the wooded area, the victory point mark there disappears, and is replaced by one further
south. Is that by design?

2. Can I bypass the wooded area, concentrate brigades around the Wheat Field, and garner a major victory
by holding that position, or do I need to capture both areas, and any subsequent locations thereafter?

3. Will two brigades be enough to hold the Wheat Field, and if so which ones are recommended for the job?

1. Yes. It represents how the objectives shifted historically. First a portion of Caldwell's division concentrated on the Stony Hill, then they pressed the Rebels back to the edge of Rose's woods.

2. Yes you should be able to still get a Major Victory just focusing on the Wheatfield.

3. You need at least 300 men to hold the Wheatfield OBJ.
