Plus they're charging $30 bucks more than the authorized resellers are, so they're also trying to profit off the reselling as well, which makes it double bad.

Are they selling the CD version or the download version? I figured it was the CD version, but with the ShareIt store, anyone can sign up to resell.

It was weird because no one ordered any CDs from me :) But if it's the download version, that makes a little sense.

They don't say it's the CD, so I would guess it isn't.

No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the general public. They are advertising to the people who don't know how to search the internet for SOWGB. Very easy money. I'll also bet that they have burned a number of CD's with the download version. When they make a sale, they just buy a license number and give it to the sucker... er... customer. It also works for in-store sales.

I wish I had thought of this. :(
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Has there been an unusually large influx of online purchases recently? They may purchase the game and activation code and sell it for profit on thier site.

Just a thought

We have had raised sales, but it seems mostly due to Pipe Creek. I cannot imagine the museum store would be doing anything illegal. But it must be the download copy they are selling.

Probably not illegal, but just acting as a middle man and making a profit on the side.
