I do not know what you did in the new patch with LOS during MP, but I love it. Along with artillery no longer shooting through hills(good fix). Limiting the command radius and height along with revised LOS made for a blast last night. We were using an early war OOB that none of us knew well that had small cav attached and I am glad we did. It was nice not being 90ft generals and it was a pain in the *** finding the rebels. We were playing three humans against an unknown OOB from the AI. All sort of unexpected things happened to include being attacked from East and West at the same time. All due to LOS. I had a unit 500 yards away from an entire rebel division on the opposite side of a ridge and never saw them I crested the ridge with a cav patrol. Talk about a shock followed closely by the command, "Run away run away!". Much more fun than seeing and knowing it all. We also tried just using messages. After some boneheaded mistakes it worked out and was fun. We also played Jackson scenario both sides with patch 1.3 and messages and it was equally entertaining. Colston and I(playing Early) got into a fight over who was using what roads. Had more of a fight wth him over roads and terrain than with XI Corps! Then AP Hill's division comes trotting up and takes the last road Colston had left.
So when can I expect maps of Champion Hill, Raymond, Big Black Bridge, Missionary Ridge...you know the Western Theater where the war was won?

Re: Latest Patch
Excellent, I'm glad to see the LOS fix is being well received. It really does add a realistic and challenging aspect to MP (and SP).
I was doing some testing the other day, playing a SB game. The enemy started attacking to my front when I was on the march. A few moments later, I saw those dreadful question marks in my rear. Before I knew it was getting flanked and it was completely unexpected.
