Watch air traffic in real time...pretty cool actually! It's called Flightradar24.

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Hi.

The link will be at the bottom of this post if you are interested in watching air traffic in real time...Best part it is FREE, unless you buy the app for your iphone.

Here is a brief description:
Flightradar24.com shows live airplane traffic from different parts around the world. The technique to receive flight information from aircraft is called ADS-B. That means the Flightradar24.com can only show information about aircraft equipped with ADS-B transponders. Today about 60% of the passenger aircraft and only a small amount of military and private aircraft have an ADS-B transponder. Please read more below about which airplane models are visible on Flightradar24.com.
Where do you have coverage?

Flightradar24.com has a network of about 300 ADS-B receivers around the world that receives plane and flight information from aircraft with ADS-B and sends this information to a server, and then displays this information on a map on Flightradar24.com. Only aircraft within the coverage area of the 300 receivers are visible.

Flightradar24.com covers about 90% of Europe. There is also some coverage in USA, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Middle East, Japan and other parts around the world. Please read more below about coverage and how to improve coverage in your area.

It's legit. You can sandboxie it if you want. You plug in your interests and will bring up websites you might never come across. You can also nominate sites that will be included for others.

In your case, you might be a better nominator given your eclectic interests.

It installs as a toolbar and you can just hit the 'stumbleupon' button and it will keep bringing up new sites.

I discovered it on msn.com as one of their Top Ten web time wasters.
