Re:Infantry
Good thought hoistingman4, I did find it very frustrating when you wanted to march some troops a decent distance, but could not put them on the road unless you wanted to watch them all the time.
Plus, with MP being added this time around, it will be essential to be able to have a fast way of march a regiment or two to the needed place instead of sendin them on a direct route where they would get exhausted from marching through the forest or over rails before even getting there.
I second the idea of being able to put regiments on the road.

Not exactly sure of the host of new buttons that are on our toolbars, but it's a good idea and deserves consideration.

Re:Infantry
I would like to be able to detach regiments from one brigade and attach them to another. It happened a lot.

We have the regiment 'Use Roads' button in-game. The detach from here and attach to there is a much more complex issue. It may get into this release, but at this point it is not sure. We have a lot of basic things to get running first, and much to do with MP which is all new.

That's okay Jim. I'll see the new game for what is. Not what it isn't. I appreciate the work that the NSD Team is doing. We have the regiment 'Use Roads' button in-game. I, like alot of the members of the forum have our personel preferences of what could be in the game and don't expect them all to come to fruitation, but it seems it is the time to make helpful suggestions or ideas, for the game is in development, {which is work I certainly don't know about} and hope it comes out user friendly as possible, thanks to the NSD Team.Jim wrote:That's okay Jim. Ok, having regiments follow roads if implemented, i'd probably use now and then for the hell of it. But i gotta be honest, in the hundreds of battles i played, i never had a dyer need for that feature. Can any of you all explain the exact scenario where that feature would be needed? Regiments fight better when they're in sight of their Brigade and Commander.
What would be higher on my priority list would be to have unchained regiments truly unchained and not leaving their position to wander around the battlefield looking for their Brigade. A bug i'm sure in TC2M.
