GB06 Jackson scenerio timing out early
GB06 Jackson scenerio timing out early
I have tried several times to play this scenerio and each time it times out about 15 minutes into the game. I'v not reset any of my options and playing on Normal. Is there something I'm overlooking here or is the 2 hour designated time allowed incorrect ?
Thanks
Thanks

I just played it about two weeks ago and it worked fine. What happens exactly? Do you get the Harper's Weekly screen? Are you playing the stock scenario or the SDK one?

I think I'm playing the stock scenario. I do get the Harpers weekly saying a Major Defeat. I get the Corp about half way to the city and like I said about 15 minutes into the game and it goes to the Weekly saying I'v been defeated.

Did Jackson get killed?

Thats something I need to check as a possibility. I had him and one brigade hustling to the way point and were well in the city and pretty much unmolested. Hadnt even thought about that issue. But I was almost sure he was in good shape.

Harper's Weekly will let you know. Try it again. That may be what happened because if he dies that will end the scenario.

Thanks - will give it a go ....

Guess it would help to read the Weekly after a game huh ? Went at it for over an hour before being
swallowed up at the cities edge. Left Jackson behind in a safe position so Id say you were correct.
Thanks for waking me up.

I've killed my share of commanders, believe me. As a matter of fact it's a problem I have with troop movements. If you tell a unit to move thus by moving the commander then sometimes he'll get there before the troops thereby committing suicide if the enemy is close. But I usually TC my commanders so maybe they're just following orders.
