Combined Mod compatible to SOW patch 1.4

BloodBath III - RebBugler

Trees and Terrain - Jolly

Threads for these mods:

Hopefully this is just a temporary fix, as modded sprites will now slow FPS if not texture packed. They work on my machine, 2 GB RAM, running all the Antietam scenarios, but do slow the FPS by 3 or 4, still manage 10 FPS on the larger battles.

When I learn and manage the texture packing method, this mod will definitely be upgraded to a more FPS friendly form.

Jolly probably knows how to do this already and will have his up and running 'packed' soon...in the meantime...

Enjoy this Jolly ol' BloodBath

Reb - Hey, What's New, I hope that you had a very good Christmas.

Question - SO, are you saying that the Terrain Mod - is in the new packed png files, or not?

Also - Which Team Member knows how to pack the new files?

I need a rather rough explanation about the process, I tried doing a sample mod but that didn't work out to well!

Thanks,

davinci

Hey D

Tim and Norb have put together the new texture packing files. The big hurtle is capturing each individual frame and naming it. Supposedly Tim has a macros built to make this faster, maybe he'll enlighten us.

Also Gunship has done some work packing, maybe he'll show the way.

I have no answers at present, only questions.

Thanks, I'm see if I can get some answers in another topic, so as not to clutter this one!

Extract/unzip into the Mods folder, start game and activate in the Modifications section...
