I just installed Antietam, and I've encountered what must be a bug.
In the first scenario on the Antietam list, the sky is completely black. It's not a different texture than usual, but completely black as if no texture is loaded at all.
All other scenarios I've tested (including some other Antietam ones, and also Pipe Creek and Gettysburg scens) have the usual blue sky texture. I haven't opened every one, but the only black sky so far is in the first on the Antietam list, and it happens consistently there.
I've tried disabling all mods, but it makes no difference. My computer has plenty of memory (8 GB RAM, video card is ATI Radeon HD 5800 with 1 GB memory). I've run all the Gettysburg scenarios, including the largest, with no problems.
Is this a known issue? Has anyone else seen this black sky?

Re: Black Sky in first Antietam Scenario
Well, I thought you were joking, but I looked again and the time data for the scenario is in fact "night."
Still, if this is how the game simulates night, IMHO it needs work. The time is supposed to be 5:45 a.m., but a dawn texture ought to have early daylight or else stars in the sky.
I'm used to the game's visual style, and the blackness here was so jarring that I immediately thought it must be a bug. This sky looks like swimming through an oil slick. I wonder if it can be improved somehow.
EDIT: I've given the scenario more time, and I see now that the sky brightens over time, which is a really nice effect. Obviously I over-reacted. That black sky put the fear of bugs in me!

Yeah, first thing LP yelled for were stars in the night skies...betcha they'll come along as the maps and coding evolves...
