Today I was playing the 11 hour scenario. I had routed Hooker's corps and taken the Cornfield. My Confederates were disorganized and low on ammunition, and I needed to do some reorganization. Then bam! Mansfield corps came. I thought for sure I was done for. I realigned Ripley's and Colquitt's brigade, got regiments on line in the Cornfield fences, rolled about five batteries up on the left flank, and went hunting for reinforcements. Those Union regiments were big.
THEY ARE PITIFUL. WHOLE CORPS has been routed in about ten minutes. They run after a first few blasts. Mansfield's Corps are sad excuses for soldiers; they run so easily. I like that.

Re: Mansfield Corps
Yep, Mansfield's Corps was green indeed. In fact, aside from Sedwick's division, most of the AOTP was green at Antietam. Nice work though. Still no easy task.
