Where to get PiChat...indispensible little tool.

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Where to get PiChat...indispensible little tool.

Pichat is a peer-to-peer chat software. You can use it to chat on the internet and in the local network (LAN). Peer-to-peer (P2P) means that you can directly connect to your friends and don't rely on a centralised server.

Software is available for Linux/BSD/Windows, please see Pichat downloads.
After starting Pichat you also have a running LAN messenger, chat server and web server. Your friends don't have to install the Pichat software in order to chat with you, all they need is a web browser, for more details see below. The integrated web server can be used for file transfer, for example to share files with your friends. There are also plugins to extend the chat with new features

Reason: I just thought it would be a good, and nifty little tool to help those chat away in the early mornings while visiting this website, It's a very quick little way of doing it.

Here is another nice way to use an address instead of having to search for your IP to hand out. I use this for my BBS since my IP changes every time I login to my server, I never leave home without it, and it's FREE.

Anyone who has piChat can chat with me if you wish.

Just enter/add jaio.no-ip.org to connect (clip, and paste).

Later.
