I CAN NOT ACCESS THE MULTIPLAYER

Post by Sargon »

Hi guys,

last Friday i played sow online without problems.

Tonight i cannot access to lobby.

I set up my name and psw but nothing happens.

I try to create a new account. I mash the button but nothing happens.

I remain on the screen multiplayer with no message.

Simply nothing happens.

Have you any idea why?

Thanks in advance

S,

It is entirely possible the server was down. It happens, albeit infrequently. Have you tried again since your first post?

So you can get into the lobby but the buttons don't work? I have never seen that one before, are you sure there were no error messages or anything when your friend tries to connect?

The question is are you really in the lobby or just the multiplayer selection screen?

If you are in the lobby one of you will have to create a room to for your friend to join.
Then when he has joined your room you will have to hit the enter staging button!!
Once the room has opened you will then need to hit the create battle button and wait for the scenario selection sceen to open here you can select what scenario to play.
then select your commander and press launch game.

If thats not working try going back to the multiplayer selection screen and joining by IP. You will have to give your friend your ip first.

You could look in the log file to see if there is any information there. So you go into the lobby the very first time you tried and created a new account. But now you cannot use that account. You're not getting any error messages at all?

No error messages at all.

I hear the 'click' when i mush 'enter lobby' button but nothing happens.

I go to control everything again.

Note: I play SOW online for one year and i made several battles until now.

Perhaps there's something wrong with your install? I always hate to recommend a re-install, but this is an unusual issue and it would help to rule that out..
