Hey guys
I've been playing Take Command: 2nd Manassass for years and have finally bought Scourge of War. I'm totally psyched and tried the Multiplayer yesterday but i couldn't get it to work. I already searched the forums, but found nothing.
The problem is that I cannot create an account; neither ingame nor on the wargamer hq. Ingame it either says "name not available", doesnt matter which one I pick or "invalid logon". Wargamer just doesnt send the activation mail. I've tried three different email addresses but nothing has arrived yet. I've resend the mail a couple of times...nothing.
Not quite sure if I'm missing something but I dont seem able to create an account. Help is appreciated.

Your absolutely correct. I just tried several different names I know would not be taken, and it tells me the names are already being used.Hey guys

Maybe Battle HQ is/was having problems. I would keep trying and maybe contact the Battle HQ support.

The easy way is to register your name and password in SOW, and then you can use it in both Battle HQ and SOW.
I registered two accounts in SOW, I use one in SOW and the other in Battle HQ. Both can be logged in at once.

What is the battle HQ that you speak of? Is this a website or part of the Gettysburg SOW game? I am having the very same problem with multiplayer. I have tried some 20 different names to create an account and am told no matter what increadibly long name I can imagine "That name is already in use" or something to the effect. I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled it hoping to "clean" out any error that I may have applied, but still to no avail. How do you contact this Battle HQ you speak of or find it?

I tried creating a new account tonight, used the name iioo and it said the name was taken. Something going on with the lobby, no doubt.

Yes, the lobby is saying that all usernames are taken.
This is a problem as until it's fixed, all new players will have to join by IP, which slows down the process of starting a game.
I have to run, but could someone post a screenshot of when the message comes up? Then NSD will know what we're talking about.

I downloaded the BattleHQ and gave it a shot to no avail, and also using the IP address listed on the scourge of war website 64.237.623.227:9175 does not work for me. What other IP address are you using to play the multiplayer games?

That IP (64.237.62.226:9175) is for Teamspeak, we use that to communicate, it isn't part of the game.
