slight MP lobby problem
I downloaded the Garnier Campaign Module not long ago, then decided to cancel, so I deleted the GCM files and folders. Then when I created a room in the lobby, instead of my usual Cliometrician name for the room, it now reads: GCM v518 cliometrician's room.
I could not find a way to delete the GCM v518 part. So, just experimenting, I created a new account for the lobby: new account name, room name, and passwords. But when I went to create a room, it still read: GCM v518 cliometrician's room.
Ok, so I went back to my old names and passwords and tried to enter the lobby but was not allowed to: invalid login.
I know I must have done something wacky---would appreciate any help!

No, I don't believe I've ever been to that site.

You may want to unable all the GCM Mods that are likely still enabled. Then you can head on over to the multiplayer screen and at the top right corner, your name with GCM Version # will be displayed in a box. Click on that name and hit backspace until you have achieved the username you prefer.

I had already disabled all the GCM modifications. On the MP screen in the Lobby, where the name of he room is listed, no backspacing is allowed. Clicking the name does nothing. And switching back to my former user name and lobby name is still disallowed.

When you click create room, the name that appears is an editable box, so you can change it there.

That's the strange thing. When I created a new account and clicked Create Room, I changed my name from cliometrician to Drake, but when I entered the lobby the name of the room was still "GCM v518 cliometrician's room." And now I'm unable to revert to my previous log-in for cliometrician.

When you click to create room, a dialog box appears where you enter the room name, password, and max players. That's where you set the room name. GCM pre-fills that field, but you can still edit it.

Re: slight MP lobby problem
In that Create Lobby Room I am not able to edit the name of the room. I've tried and it won't work, but here's possibly the reason why. The name is now: "GMC v518 cliometrician's room"
That phrase is so long that the letter "m" in room is partially beyond the box, thus I can't click the end of the room's name in order to edit. And that's the only way it can be edited....starting the backspace at the end of the last word, which I can't do.
So is there any other way to get rid of the GMC v518??

Ok, ignore my post just above and color me "dork." Figured it out.
