Newbie

Post by Blind Sniper »

Hello all,

I just bough the game after played the demo tutorials, it seems a very good game.

Do you have any hints for a new player? (but read the manual of course)

Entry scenarios, topics for newcomers, useful AARs and so on.

Thanks in advance :)

Best thing I can suggest is don't run before you can walk

Hello Jonah,

is it school of life or are you speaking about fatigue? :P

Welcome onboard! Which version did you get? Gettysburg or Chancellorsville?

Try the scenarios - they usually start easy and then get harder. Stay away from division or corps battles until you're happy with brigade command :)

Sandbox is also great for just fighting and not worrying about mission objectives.

Gettysburg or Chancellorsville?
I think to start with the Gettysburg ones, is there a particolar order how to play them or is enough to play the brigade scenarios? Also, which side first? (if matter)

At the moment I'm reading the manual.

Thanks to all!

I started with the brigade scenarios and worked my way up.

I would also suggest playing the brigade and division tutorials several times each.

Alright Blind Sniper,

Now that you are ready to play, life will not be the same !!

There will be no time to eat, drink or sleep !

All of your time will be spent on the battlefield !

Get out in the field and smell the gunpowder !
