I do not have a clue when it comes to modding but I do have an idea. You know when you rest troops and they lie down would it - could it be possible to have a bunch of white tents pop up to show bivac or camp.
I just think about when I am playing and move some units to an area on the map. How cool this feature could be.
Now everyone tell me how crazy I am
I hope this isn't crazy

Hmm, I'm sure that it is possible, after all the laying-down units are just a graphic file.I do not have a clue when it comes to modding but I do have an idea. But, I really don't think that it would look right especially if the units are on a battle-field under artillery-fire and you issue an order to lay-down and a lot of tents suddenly pop-up!

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!

Hello
Yes I agree with you. Again I haven't a clue but perhaps it could be implimented for units when not in combat.
Have you ever detached a unit or units and have them , lets say, explore. They get tired and just need to camp.
Or your units are marching but it's simply late and you have to save all before going into battle.
I just thought the image of a whole bunch to tents would be awesome.
Thank you for contacting me . Your work is outstanding and I appreciate everything you and the others have done.

Yeah, I agree that that would probably be the best way to go about it, having it separate from the Laying-down command.Hello

I'm still trying to think of a way that it can be done by using a special-key that "pulls \ calls" on a certain graphic to be displayed.
Basically, the units are just a graphics file, just like the trees. So a graphic-file can be a "camp" with tents that can be displayed by clicking a certain key.
I just haven't came up with a good way of achieving this since that same key or another key would have to be used to erase \ delete the tents after moving.
Another way of doing it would be something like using a special-wagon, then you could give the wagon a certain-stance and have it turn into tents. By moving the wagon the tents would disappear.
